The rules governing access to and use of the service.
These Terms of Use (ToU) govern access to and use of the online information service Hibiki Zen. By creating an account or accessing the service, you accept these ToU without reservation.
Hibiki Zen is a service published on a non-professional basis. Access to all content, including the weekly review, is entirely free of charge and gives rise to no payment, subscription or commercial transaction.
As the service is not provided for valuable consideration, the provisions of the French Consumer Code relating to distance selling and the right of withdrawal do not apply.
Access to part of the content is unrestricted. Access to all content and to the weekly review requires the creation of a free account (email address and password). The publisher reserves the right to suspend access for maintenance, without this giving rise to any compensation.
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity carried out from your account. You undertake to provide accurate information. The account is strictly personal.
All content published on Hibiki Zen (articles, analyses, layout, graphic elements) is protected by copyright. Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, without prior authorisation, is prohibited. A short quotation remains permissible provided that the source is cited and a link is made to the original URL.
The comments you publish remain your property; by publishing them, you grant the publisher a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display them on the service. Unlawful, defamatory, insulting or public-order-infringing statements are prohibited and may be removed without notice.
The content reflects the opinions of its authors and is provided for information purposes. The publisher may not be held liable for any interruption of the service, any event of force majeure, or any decision taken by a reader on the basis of this content.
The processing of your data is described in our privacy policy.
You may delete your account at any time from your personal area. The publisher may terminate an account in the event of a breach of these ToU, with prior notice except in cases of proven fraud.
Hibiki Zen openly embraces a new kind of editorial model, built on transparency. The magazine's articles, illustrations and editorial signatures are produced by artificial intelligence, using Nimpress technology, from documented sources and in keeping with Catholic doctrine.
The five signatures that embody our sections (Europe, France, World, Rome, Intelligences) are editorial lines, not real individuals. Each carries a consistent editorial voice and outlook, driven by artificial intelligence and supervised by our human editorial team.
Before publication, every piece of content is reviewed and approved by two natural persons: Christian Robert Salvioni (founder and Publication Director) and Anne-Marie Benedetti (editorial manager and proofreading), who act under these pen names. This human oversight covers factual accuracy, doctrinal rigour and editorial quality.
Some comments displayed beneath the articles are generated by artificial intelligence to seed discussion, pending a genuine community of readers. They are flagged as such and distinguished from comments posted by registered users.
Editorial and legal responsibility for all content is assumed by the Publication Director, a natural person declared to the host in accordance with French Law No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy (LCEN). As that law permits for a non-professional publisher, their civil identity is not made public.
We fully embrace this model: the power of artificial intelligence placed at the service of a clear doctrinal line, under constant human oversight. Our method is set out in full on our "Our editorial team" page.
These ToU may be amended at any time; the applicable version is the one online at the time of your access. They are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, the French courts shall have jurisdiction.
